BNL Baseball Spring Youth Clinic

Mother Nature cooperated for the first time in the last four years allowing the BNL Baseball Stars to host the annual free youth clinic outside on Stars Field. Over 80 youth baseball players attended the clinic. The current BNL Star players put the campers through drills including: hitting, infield play, outfield play, pitching, catching, and base running. Each attendee walked away with a door prize which included: autographed baseballs, baseball cards, batting gloves, t-shirts, hats, “Game-Day Experience” certificate, and free summer camp registrations. The RBI Club fed the campers and players lunch after the event. Several of them stayed around to watch the Red and Blue scrimmage. During the clinic, the parents of the BNL players were busy cleaning, raking, hanging signs, and completing other field improvements.
